BLOGGER SPOTLIGHT – Michelle Tam of Nom Nom Paleo
Introduced to Paleo by her husband, Michelle launched NomNomPaleo.com back in October 2010 and hasn’t looked back. Michelle works “graveyard” shifts as a hospital pharmacist, cooks mostly for her husband and 2 amazingly cute sons, and somehow finds the time to post recipes and updates almost every single day. In just 2 and ½ years, Michelle has managed to win over the hearts and stomachs of Paleo (and non-Paleo eaters) internationally.
NomNomPaleo.com beat out several other amazing blogs to win Saveur’s Best Food Blog of 2012 Awards in the Special Diets Blog category. (There are plenty of other awards that Michelle’s blog has won, but it would make this article way too long to list all of them)!
What We Particularly Love:
Michelle posts almost entirely about non-dessert recipes. While we love desserts as much as the next person, it’s real food and real meals that define our days and our lives. We have discovered so many foods, recipes, tips, and useful kitchen utensil recommendations from Michelle’s blog.
Cauliflower Rice. It’s so simple and now so widespread, but this is a life changer for anyone used to eating rice dishes. I’ve made many variations of it and served it at many dinners to non-Paleo friends (who, to their utter surprise, always love it). So, THANK YOU Michelle!

Why We Love it and You Will Too:
We already love Michelle’s recipes. We also generally love food apps. But the Nom Nom Paleo iPad App takes both to a new level.
This iPad app is simply ground breaking with step by step scrollable photos for the recipes and a cool shopping cart function that allows you to email all your ingredients and cooking equipment to yourself.
In many ways, it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly what makes this App so special because it does so many things so well. Perhaps what deserves the highest praise is the simple fact that it really just does exactly what you would want a recipe App to do, which every other recipe App I’ve used fails to do! If you haven’t checked out this amazing App, then just click here to go directly to it.
