Ingredients
  • 2 bananas
  • ½ cup frozen berries
  • handful of kale (or spinach)
  • 5 brazil nuts
  • 5 raw almonds
  • 1 and ½ cup coconut milk
  • 2 Tablespoons potato starch
  • 2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
  • protein powder (optional)
Instructions
  1. Blend well.

    This chocolate green smoothis looks delicious! I was wondering why use the potato starch? I do not have it on hand so can I leave it out and still get the taste/effect you’re going for? Thanks Louise!

      Yes – you can omit the potato starch (it’s a type of resistant starch that’s good for building up good gut bacteria – that’s why I put it in).
