What Can You Drink on Paleo?
There are more drinks than just water, soda, and fruit juices in this world!
Tea is a great option on Paleo, and it’s especially great if you make you own fresh tea from various herbs.
I’ve had mint tea in Middle Eastern restaurants many times before, and I finally got around to making it at home the other day. It’s soooo easy!

The most important step is buying fresh mint leaves. Once you have that, just wash the leaves gently in cold water to get rid of any dirt on it, and then add it to a pot of boiling water. Around 5 leaves for every cup of water is a good amount. Then just let it sit and steep for a while. You can also cool the tea to make a refreshing iced mint tea for the summer.
- 5 fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup of boiling water
- Wash the leaves gently in cold water to take off any dirt.
- Boil some water and add it to the leaves.
- Leave to steep for a while to get the minty flavor to seep in, but you can drink any time (it just gets mintier with time).
- It's great to make a large pot of tea with 20-30 mint leaves.
