Cocoa has been shown to reduce blood pressure and improve vascular function.

  • 1-1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 3 TBSP chia seeds
  • 2 TBSP cocoa powder
  • 2 TBSP pure maple syrup
  • 1 TBSP raw cacao nibs
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional toppings: raw cocoa nibs, whipped coconut cream, raspberries, strawberries

  1. In a high-speed blender, combine the almond milk, chia seeds, cocoa powder, maple syrup, cacao nibs, and cinnamon. Process until completely smooth and creamy. Transfer to a glass container, cover, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  2. When ready to serve, stir to smooth out the pudding again. If it’s too thick, add 1 tablespoon of almond milk and stir to incorporate. Spoon into serving bowls, top with desired toppings, and serve.
