Prep Time: 5 mins
Cooke Time: 15 mins
Makes 8 patties
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork (or turkey)
- 1 TBSP fresh sage, chopped
- 2 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tsp pure maple syrup, optional
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tsp avocado oil
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the pork, sage, rosemary, maple syrup (if using), garlic, salt, and pepper. Form into 8 patties of equal size, about 3/4-inch thick.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet set over medium-high heat. Add patties to the pan, leaving a little space between each one so they can brown. You may have to cook them in batches. Cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Flip and cook until the second side is browned, about 5 minutes more, or until cooked through.
- Serve immediately or let cool completely, then store in an airtight container in the freezer for later use.
