Serves 4


  • 4 medium sweet apples, such as Gala or Pink Lady, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup water


  1. Combine all of the ingredients in an Instant Pot. Stir to combine.
  2. Close the lid, turn vent to Sealed, and cook on Manual pressure for 2 minutes.
  3. When done perform a Quick Release. When the steam has stopped, remove the lid.
  4. Spoon the apples into bowls and serve.
