The beloved Instant Pot has been around for a decade, showing up on Amazon back in 2010. Much safer and easier to use than their cousin the pressure cooker, the popularity of the Instant Pot has exploded (no pun intended), with millions of culinary enthusiasts embracing the product’s ease, safety and fast cook times. As a result, the last 10 years has produced thousands of instant pot recipes online, with countless blogs devoted entirely to the appliance. You can’t go into a bookstore without seeing a growing number of Instant Pot cookbooks on shelves. Cookbooks devoted to the appliance are also regularly among the best sellers on Amazon.
Like countless other devotees, I’m also a huge fan. I admit I’m not the main cook in my household and our Instant Pot has helped me quickly put a number of tasty meals on the table when I forgot it was my turn to cook. The ability to dump a bunch of stuff in, turn it on, walk away, and come back to a delicious end result are also huge checkmarks in the positive column as far as I’m concerned.
These are a few of my favorite Paleo-inspired Instant Pot recipes, along with some extremely handy cooking time cheat sheets, to help you get the most out of your Instant Pot. If you don’t already own one, stop waiting and pick one up. Once you do, you’ll never know how you got by without one.
