From the June/July 2015 issue
Makes 1 large or 2 small servings
- 1 medium frozen banana, broken into chunks
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 1 medium carrot, cut into chunks
- 1 TBSP hemp seeds
- 1/2 tsp finely grated fresh ginger
- 1/4 tsp finely grated orange zest
- Pinch ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup water
- Place the ingredients in a blender in the order listed.
- Blend on high until creamy and smooth.
- Serve immediately.
