Low Carbohydrate, High Protein Diet May Slow Tumor Growth
This recent study compared the growth rate of both murine and human carcinomas in mice. Researchers compared a low carbohydrate, high protein diet to a “typical” Western diet, defined as high carbohydrate and low protein. The authors noted that they increased the protein, rather than the fat, due to potential links of high fat diets to cancer.
