Morrocco Method has a lot to boast about. This hair care line offers a full range of products that are raw, vegan, Paleo and wildcrafted, all of which manage to nourish and style hair with their chemical-free formulas. From shampoos and conditioners to scalp treatments and natural henna, Morrocco Method has all of your hair needs covered, from root to tip.

Morrocco Method sent Paleo Magazine a sample of all of their hair care products, including their Five Elements Shampoos, the Zen Detox Hair & Scalp Therapy, the Diamond Crystal Mist and Sapphire Volumizer Mist, the Blood of the Dragon Styling Gel, and the Boar Bristle Brush.

The Morrocco Method Five Elements Shampoos are unlike anything else on the market. Based on the principles of the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, ether), these shampoos are meant to be used on a rotational to nourish the hair and scalp with each of the unique properties of the elements. With ingredients like algae and kelp, aloe vera leaf juice, essential oils, apple cider vinegar and pine oil, the shampoos smell earthy and robust, and work with the hair to hydrate and enhance natural texture. The formulation means that these shampoos are low-sudsing and non-foaming, but with such potent ingredients a little goes a long way.

Because of all of these qualities that make Morrocco Method products unique, there may be an adjustment period. For example, when I first started using the Morrocco Method Five Elements Shampoos, my thick wavy hair felt somehow dry and heavy at the same time, with extra moisture at my roots and temples. After playing around with my “dosage” and sticking with the MM routine for about a week, I reached the sweet spot. Now, my hair’s natural curl is enhanced, it stays cleaner longer, and it feels so healthy and hydrated. Beware the adjustment period blues – keep up the Morrocco Method and you’ll be rewarded for your persistence.

Morrocco Method also included their Floating Lotus Conditioner and Pearl Essence Cream Rinse. Both formulas are dense, meant to quench dehydrated hair and tame texture. Once you’re out of the shower, the Blood of the Dragon Styling Gel or the Sapphire Volumizer Mist are both great options for styling, depending on how your hair behaves.

And let’s not forget the entire line of scalp treatments, like the Goddess Earth Elixir Scalp Restorer or the scalp brush, meant to stimulate circulation to the scalp to nourish hair. This, used in conjunction with the Boar Bristle Brush, can make every week feel like an indulgent trip to the salon. The Boar Bristle Brush in particular is extraordinary – it is of great quality, and does its duty in massaging the scalp and smoothing hair effortlessly.

There are many more Morrocco Method products to gush about, but instead of describing I can simply say this: I am a Morrocco Method convert, and I doubt I’ll ever go back to conventional hair treatments. For anyone making the shift to a chemical-free lifestyle, Paleo Magazine recommends the Morrocco Method line.
