Cook time: 20 minutes
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients
Crusts:
-
1 lb ground beef
-
1/2 tsp sea salt
Toppings:
-
1 TBSP coconut oil
-
1/3 cup chopped yellow onion
-
1/3 cup sliced black olives
-
1/4 lb ground beef
-
2 tsp chili powder
-
1/2 tsp garlic powder
-
1 cup salsa
-
1 cup shredded lettuce
-
Guacamole, for serving
Instructions
Crusts:
-
Preheat the oven to 425°F.
-
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the beef and salt. Divide the meat into 4 equal portions.
-
On a large baking sheet, press each of the portions of meat into a “crust” about 1/8- to 1/4-inch thick. Bake until the meat is cooked throughout, 10-15 minutes.
Toppings:
-
Meanwhile, heat the coconut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
-
Add the onions and olives. Cook, stirring frequently, for 2 minutes.
-
Add the beef, chili powder, and garlic powder. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the meat is cooked throughout and no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
Pizzas:
-
Divide the salsa between the 4 meat crusts, spreading it evenly with a spoon.
-
Divide the meat-and-onion mixture between the 4 crusts. Place back in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with the shredded lettuce and guacamole. Serve.
